Cyndee, I just discovered your site after listening to your interview with Marnie. What an amazing resource. I just took over leadership of our women’s ministry and went in search of women’s ministry resources. LIke you said in your interview, at first I wasn’t finding much of what I was looking for, then I discovered your website. What a goldmine!

I realize that this is an old post, but I wanted to let you know about our movie Summer of ’67. It’s a Christian movie made specifically for women so it lends itself well to a women’s movie night.

Thanks again for the great resource. I look forward to spending the evening catching up on a lot of your wonderfully helpful articles.

Miguel, what a great idea! There are several great Christian children’s movies – everything from Veggie Tales to Courageous. Free food and free movies always draw a crowd. Perhaps set up a snack bar with popcorn, drinks, and candy. Praying you’ll reach many!

I need ideas to have a movie night for the community and invite them to church and i am planning on having the movie at my lawn. I am thinking of showing a movie for kids

Thanks so much for this post. We are starting a new women’s ministry at our church and for our first event wanted something fun but simple. The flyers, popcorn bar, and movie selection – War Room, all came from ideas on your site. The night was a success and I owe it all to you. People kept congratulating me and I told them I never could have done anything without your website! What you are doing is such a blessing!!
