We were a small mission church so started collection baskets are ‘several’ months ago. Our church recently merged with another small church and carried our ‘projects’ with us. We have been using the “Son”shine baskets as in-reach for our shut-in ladies and also as outreach for names submitted and possible new members. We finally gathered enough Band-Aids to share with the 5 doctors and/or clinics in our small town. Each one was ecstatic to receive these. We attached labels to each box with our church name. These ideas have been win-win-win projects for us…..with “The Band-Aid Ministry” families/community won by our sharing….our church/churches won by uniting together to reach out to our community (not only to share God’s love but also to make people aware of our church)…….then, God won by us sharing our time and love of God with others in our community that we might not have had a chance to without these ministry ideas. Thank you so much for sharing these wonderful projects with those of us that “sometime” have a difficult time coming up with new or different ideas to spread God’s love.

P.S. I also want to add that from the Band-Aid ministry we collected coloring books and crayons that are going to the Dentist offices this week. Again, thanks so much for sharing……….
