I am planning an event in December about women “showing up” for each other. Not just, oh I’ll pray for you, etc, but really showing up, spiritually, physically and emotionally.
I was thinking that stories of how someone showed up for them or a family member would be a great addition. This podcast really helped me with how to present the idea to my team, and how to get our stories on paper.

Your explanation of how to write a “story” is so helpful–it takes the scariness out of sharing what God has done or is doing in my life for fear I won’t communicate it clearly. I’ve printed this blog out for ready reference. And writing stories out is an excellent way to keep a record for myself, that I can re-read when I need encouragement. I’m excited to write a few more!
