Teresa – great question! It depends. We try to list several upcoming events on the cards, but do sometimes use them for just one event. Three weeks out seems to be the magic number – it’s not so far out that women aren’t able/willing to make plans and many won’t already have plans. You could do them seasonally. I just picked up a Summer Events card this AM at church that our Youth ministry puts out. I’m sure it’s been out for weeks but I wanted one as an example to share with you all. Hope that helps!

How early do you distribute save the date cards? We have never done that but thinking be good to distribute at worship services to our women and visiting women.

In our group the Women of JOY we printed color calendars for our ladies and the church staff. Everyone knows the dates and there is no problems coordinating events, other events can also be penciled in. I love the idea of save the date cards and being able to pass them on!
