Are you looking for a great women’s ministry door prize idea?
Do you have a retreat, conference, or big women’s ministry event coming up?
I’ve got a great idea to share with you!
Our women loved the door prizes that we put together for the Table Event at our church in Kentucky.
We found some adorable gift bags and filled them with three simple things that almost every woman would enjoy!
We included:
1. Devotional book (like Savor the Savior)
2. $5 gift cards from Chick-Fil-A
3. 4 Hershey Nuggets
And because we wanted to bless as many women as possible our team decided to put together 22 bags so that each table would have a “winner”.
I was given the task to place special stickers on the back of winning name tags prior to the event. A word of advice – don’t leave that til the last minute! I was scrambling to place them on randomly before our women arrived!
While you don’t have to include those exact gifts in your women’s ministry door prize, including the 3 C’s ensures that every woman is blessed with at least one thing (if not all 3 things) that they will love!
I strongly encourage your door prize bags include the three C’s:
1. Christ
2. Chocolate (or other Candy)
3. (Gift) Card
Everybody needs more of God’s Word.
Almost all of your women love a piece of chocolate (or know someone who would).
And free food is a great gift – one your women will use and they’ll think of you when they do!
The next time you need a women’s ministry door prize idea remember the 3 C’s.
Don’t miss the opportunity to be intentional with your women’s ministry door prizes – you can make an eternal impact!

Thank You so much for EVERYTHING. I’m just beginning a Women’s Ministry at our Church. I’ve prayed about it for a year or longer. I wanted it to be Christ focused, not Event focused. I’ve copied and read so much of your material. What a storehouse!!! I so appreciate the 1 minute Tips. Everything I’ve found so far has been Very Helpful. PLEASE PRAY FOR ME. God Bless!!!

Just started our women’s group. It’s been on my heart since my marriage 5 years ago! While our church was started in 1907, it has gradually lost most of the families and has 14 in regular attendance. The men’s prayer group meets for 15 minutes prior to Sunday morning sermon after Sunday School. The women mostly wandered around visiting and not effectively making use of this time. We’ve finally convinced the ladies we need more connection, linking us to scripture, growing the love and preparing ourselves to bring people in, what we are commissioned to do! I started with a card activity with hand-written names of all the ladies in the To: and From:, a space to write their email, phone and a favorite scripture for encouragement. When I handed out the packets I told them there was ample space to write any message they wanted to their sister in Christ, suggesting it be simple – I love you, I prayed for you, or something on their hearts they wanted to share. It was well received. Now, hopefully next week each of us will get those cards from each lady to encourage us. Lord knows we all can use encouragement!

We I am truly delighted to have been led to this site! The Lord knows my desire to not only serve Him in excellence, but to not follow the status quo WM but allow Him to lead, guide and mold this work for His Glory! I can’t wait to perouse your site and get ready to launch my first inter-denominational Women’s ministry. Thank you for your gifts and services to folk like me.

I have a women’s meeting at my house. The next one will be the second one but we plan on doing this every month hopefully. I am gonna do a door prize but I was also thinking about doing a secret prayer partner. I’m going to have everyone write down a prayer request but not sign it then have everyone pick a request out of a hat….we pray for our secret prayer partner until our next meeting, at that time we can share our answered prayer request and then repeat it at every meeting. In doing this our needs will be prayed for throughout the month.

I love that your women will be praying specifically for each other in between your meetings! Great idea! Thanks for sharing it!
