Yesterday we talked about having the women at your retreat complete a retreat survey.
But there’s a second piece to evaluating your retreat – your team evaluation.
Years ago we came up with a Post Event Evaluation Form.
It’s something I recommend teams use after every women’s ministry event.
I’ve taken that form, made some changes, and have a brand-new Post-Retreat Evaluation Form for your team to complete once you’ve returned from the retreat.
How is this different than the retreat survey?
Your team is looking at:
- Budget
- Volunteers
- Publicity
- Purpose of the retreat
- Effectiveness of the speaker(s)
- What would you do differently?
- What would you do the same?
- Overall impression of the retreat by your attendees
- How the lives of your women were changed
You can download the Post-Retreat Evaluation Form by clicking on the link below. It is a free PDF.
I strongly encourage you to have a post-retreat meeting with your team 2-3 weeks after your retreat (any longer and the details will start to fade).
In addition to completely this Post-Retreat Evaluation Form together you can also:
- Review the surveys the women completed
- Celebrate
- Thank your volunteers
Consider providing lunch or dinner and/or purchasing a small thank you gift for every team member.
Please keep a file of your Post-Retreat Evaluation Forms to pass along to the next Retreat Planning Team.
The lessons you’ve learned will help in the planning of future retreats.
